Learn how to sew.

THE OVERVIEW

My ultimate aim to get us all into crafting, making, knitting and sewing.

Understanding how a garment is made and the time and resources that takes will, in my mind, be the biggest shift in moving away from the fast fashion cycle weโ€™re currently in. Less fast fashion = less landfill = happy Earth.

I therefore offer a range of courses, workshops and drop-in sessions for a variety of skill sets. I teach complete beginners who have never sewn a stitch to more advanced techniques like bag making and using patterns.

I have my current classes listed, however, Iโ€™m always open to what youโ€™d like to learn.

If youโ€™d like to use my services for a specific project (friendโ€™s getaway or workplace fun day etc.) then Iโ€™d be happy to discuss this with you. I can also provide ideas depending on the skill levels of the group.

If you prefer to not be a group setting then Iโ€™d also happily discuss 1:1 (or 2:1) tuition.

All my classes and workshops are located in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.

They are run at Sam Dale & Son in a dedicated craft space.

I highly recommend learning how to sew on your own machine, however, we do have 4 basic domestic sewing machines available for you to use on a first-come-first-serve basis to get you started.
