My passion is sewing and my hope is that you build your confidence with using your sewing machine and get inspired by what is possible!
I know that getting your sewing machine out the box is sometimes the hardest step - we can do that together. Set it all up and get you started! That’s the aim.
And if you haven’t got a sewing machine lurking in the back of a cupboard somewhere - then we have 4 basic domestic machines (on a first-come-first-serve basis) that you are more than welcome to have a play on.
I can’t wait for you to fall in love with sewing :)
Location: Sam Dale & Son, Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.
Evening
Date: Tuesday 17th, 24th and 31st March & 7th April 2026
Time: 18:30-20:30 (2 hours)
Daytime
Date: Tuesday 14th April 2026
Time: 13:30-15:30 (2 hours)
Price: £30 per person per workshop
Adults only - maximum 4 per class.
Materials provided.
What is bring: enthusiasm and a domestic sewing machine (needs to be able to do straight stitches and zig-zag stitches - feel free to ask if you’re not sure) and maybe a notebook for jotting down useful tips and tricks.
If you’ve got thread, scissors, a tape measure etc that could be useful too but fine if not :)
